Adv. Specialist Quality Engine Assembly
Corporate Division？Powertrain
Division, located in？Shenyang/China
Employment – full time
Tasks
Provide expertise and resolve and prevent quality issues for the assembly functional area.
Key Responsibility
·？？？？？？？Lead, actively support and complete investigations to identify root causes when quality problems are found within the assembly process.
·？？？？？？？Liaise with company-internal customers, Parts Quality, and internal / external quality functions when problems are identified.
·？？？？？？？Record quality problems and resolution activities in line with the requirements of the quality management Handbook and ensure measures of control are in place so that problem rectification is fully sustainable.
·？？？？？？？Generate regular quality information showing trends in faults being generated or found within assembly line.
·？？？？？？？Complete process surveillances, identify non-conformities and communicate problems to appropriate owners.
·？？？？？？？Provide Trainings to ensure skills are in place so that response time to emergency issues is to a minimum and negative impact to the business related to quality is minimized.
·？？？？？？？Always manage and maintain system data to ensure records are up to date and adhere to all; manage quality process control within assembly area.
·？？？？？？？Develop and enhance methods, tools, and solutions to avoid and detect faults.
Qualification
·？？？？？？？Bachelor or master’s degree / graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing
·？？？？？？？Ability to work on own initiative
·？？？？？？？Able to make decisions on use of material and conformity of engines to support production
·？？？？？？？Fundamental understanding of engineering principles (e.g.. Measurement, manufacturing, quality, etc.)
·？？？？？？？Ability to communicate with all areas of production and other areas of BBT-A when required
·？？？？？？？Highly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment, Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilise resources to achieve desired results.
·？？？？？？？Proficient English, German would be an advantage
·？？？？？？？Background in high volume automotive industry
·？？？？？？？Experience with engine assembly
·？？？？？？？Several years’ experience in systematic analyzing and resolving technical issues
·？？？？？？？Experience with quality management
