The position is in charge to define, shape, align the product offer (especially digital products and services towards the Connected Company China for the different vehicle projects. He/she is responsible for the product offer of one business line (MyJourney, MyCar or My Life). He evaluates with the 360-degree view (technique, market, operation, on-board, off-board) each product idea/offer and brings it to the decision in the Digital Car China. For new product ideas this position set-up pre-development projects. Responsibilities Collect the product ideas and offers of the business line. Align and shape the product portfolio according customer value, business chances, resource effort, technical solution and so on. Align the product portfolio with business line and prepare all steps to bring this to decision in Digital Car China. Evaluates each product idea/offer with a 360 degree view (technique, customer/Market, business chances, on-board, off-board, plant-integration) which delivers the decision base for the Digital Car China. Set-up and lead pre-development projects in order to possibly extend the product portfolio with new ideas. Lead Concepts teams for evaluation of new concepts and product ideas. Lead temporarily SE-Teams for Compenents to be developed in China till development it handed over to business lines. Qualifications University degree required, in Engineering, Information Technology or similar Strong customer oriented mindset Deep understanding of automotive industry Drive new product ideas to concepts Evaluation skills (Cost, time, quality) Ability to create and develop self-motivated products Project management skills Chinese and English written and spoken language/communication skills; German desirable. 7-10 years of working experience 4-6 years of project management experience 1-3 years of team/people management experience 4-6 years of working experience in field of automotive
