Tasks
Optimize all processes and technologies within the existing systems and ensure a VPS driven production.
？
Key Responsibilities
·？？？？？？Analyze weak points within assembly operations and rectify to ensure stability, reliability and quality of engines produced.
·？？？？？？Enhance and implement CIP and VPS activities to ensure the continuous improvements and streamline of all production related measures.
·？？？？？？Liaise, negotiate and influence relevant partners to ensure the preferred operational requirements of products and processes are met in accordance with all health, safety, environmental and BMW standards.
·？？？？？？Analyze the root cause of faults/problems and apply methodology to ensure all problem resolution activities are completed in a proactive and systematic approach and all production targets/guidelines are met.
·？？？？？？Ensure and improve all Q-critical features in series production maintaining efficiency and minimize downtime to maximize the performance.
·？？？？？？Provide robust solutions for all tasks and problems not solved by the production teams.
·？？？？？？Provide appropriate levels of training to associates as business requires within the engine assembly line.

Qualifications
·？？？？？？Master degree / graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing.
·？？？？？？Knowledge of engine assembly and test processes.
·？？？？？？Knowledge of high volume manufacturing preferably within the automotive (engine) industry.
·？？？？？？Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using systematic problem resolution techniques.
·？？？？？？Knowledge of process control techniques and gauging methods.
·？？？？？？Highly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment, Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilize resources to achieve desired results.
·？？？？？？Skills with analyzing and reporting, with high level of personal commitment and motivation.
·？？？？？？Skills with project management.
·？？？？？？Proficient English, German would be an advantage.
·？？？？？？Background in high volume automotive industries 7-10 Years.
·？？？？？？Experience with engine assembly 4-6 Years.
·？？？？？？Several years experience in systematic analyzing and resolving technical issues 4-6 Years.
·？？？？？？Experience with process control 4-6 Years.
