Tasks

·??????Taking responsibility for the CAE based simulation of fluid dynamics (CFD) and aerodynamics in (virtual) development and validation processes. Main focus is on fulfilling project targets by using Wind tunnel, simulation and numerical methods according to BMW standards.

·??????Define, coordinate, perform and monitor aerodynamics values, numerical calculations and simulations. Evaluate the results and prepare reports. Communicate the results to line and project manager and related teams and define action plans for improvements.

·??????Support Simulation team activities for project target achievement.

Key Responsibilities

·??????Coordinate, prepare and monitor the aerodynamics activities according to project synchro plan

·??????Coordinate, prepare and monitor the virtual validation activities according to project synchro plan and summarize the validation documents

·??????Define and set up numerical methods, wind tunnel test and simulations for fulfilling project targets

·??????Evaluate the result of simulations and prepare reports

·??????Communicate the results to line and project manager, related teams and project circles

·??????Define simulation action plans for improvements and carry out necessary steps

·??????Support Simulation team activities for project target achievement

Qualifications

·??????Bachelor or Master of mechanical or automotive Engineering;?B.Sc. Or higher

·??????Knowledge in CAE and numerical simulation and related software?(CFD)

·??????Knowledge in mechanical engineering, materials science and manufacturing technologies

·??????Knowledge in aerodynamics, wind tunnel testing

·??????Project management experience

·??????Business English

·??????Personal requirements: communication and teamwork skills, project experience, strong analytical skills, quality-conscious, assertiveness

·??????Several years in the field of CAE, CFD, Aerodynamics 4-6 Years
