Major Responsibilities

• Market screening of the Chinese automotive supplier market.
• Compilation and translation (Chinese to English) of all relevant documents.
• Follow up the RFQ process regarding schedule and quality of the proposals.
• Maintain responsible the supplier database (Establishment and maintenance).
• Contacting suppliers.
• Organisation of supplier visits.
• Back office Management.
• Daily correspondence, with supplier and BMW Group.
• Filing of correspondence and supplier related documents.
• Planning and organizing business trips according schedule.
• Contact supplier, import the latest supplier data in the database.
• Preparing and performing supplier surveys.
• Update the database according the BMW EM-processes.
• Organize the database with the analysis application for cost down potentials.
• Organize the schedule for the different RFQ activities.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical / mechanical / automotive engineering or comparable educational background, economics background.
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills
• Chinese not mandatory, intensive knowledge about local mentality and conventions
• Chinese and English fluent; knowledge of German is an advantage
• User of software like MS-Office, Windows etc Willingness to travel
• Experience in automotive industry, purchasing, sales or quality. (at leat 1 years)
